A Very English Scandal is the shocking true story of the first British politician to stand trial for conspiracy and incitement to murder. It is the late 1960s, homosexuality has only just been decriminalised, and Jeremy Thorpe, the leader of the Liberal party and the youngest leader of any British political party in a hundred years, has a secret he's desperate to hide. Första intryck
Jag visste att jag skulle fortsätta kolla på den här serien varje vecka, Hugh Grant är ändå huvudrollen, men jag hade verkligen inte förväntat mig att A Very English Scandal skulle vara så här bra. Det första avsnittet var fantastiskt redigerat, fantastiskt ihopsatt. Älskade sättet allt berättas på, vilket främst utgick från att Jeremy berättade för Peter vad som hänt, varav vi fick se vad som hade hänt. Det gav avsnittet ett fantastiskt flyt. Alla skådespelare gjorde även fantastiska jobb i sina karaktärer - Hugh Grant som Jeremy, Ben Wishaw som Norman, Alex Jennings som Peter. Jag är såld. A Very English Scandal visas varje söndag på BBC One.
